Porcelain Veneers

What are porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers for a beautiful smilePorcelain veneers closely resemble healthy, white tooth enamel and are unsurpassed by other restorative options in strength and appearance. Made of ultra thin sheets of ceramic material, veneers bond directly to the front surfaces of your teeth and are virtually undetectable as well as highly resistant to staining.

Why would I choose veneers?

Often crowded, crooked, discolored, or damaged teeth are a source of embarrassment. To correct your smile, we often recommend porcelain veneers, which are an alternative to crowns, to completely reshape your teeth and achieve your most beautiful smile.

3 Steps to a New Smile

Getting veneers usually requires three visits to complete the process, with little or no anesthesia needed during the procedure.
  1. Your initial consultation will determine a treatment plan based on your needs.
  2. During your second visit, we lightly buff and shape the surfaces of your teeth and make a mold (or impression) of the teeth to be bonded. We also choose an appropriate shade of color to match your other teeth. You’ll go home with a temporary set while your permanent veneers are being made.
  3. On the final visit, we replace your temporaries with permanent veneers. First, your teeth will be cleaned with special liquids to create a durable bond. Next, bonding cement will be placed between your natural tooth and the veneer. Finally, we use a special light beam to harden and set the bond.

Final result A beautiful, natural looking and feeling smile!
